Morocco!
The first weekend after I got to Barcelona, I went to Tangier, Morocco with my teacher and a group of students. I meant to share these pictures earlier but I got busy with school and exploring the city. It was a super cool adventure to see a very different culture. We spent Friday on a guided tour that drove us around to viewpoints, camels, caves markets and more. On Saturday we had a guide take us to the city Chefchaouen which has all of its buildings painted blue. To close out the weekend, on Sunday we toured some more markets and looked at some museums. It was also a really interesting experience because we went during Ramadan. Ramadan is when Muslims fast all day and then eat after sunsets. During this time, they have a daylight savings and change their time to have sunset an hour earlier for the whole month. They also have a loud prayer call that goes off the at the mosque five times a day including a final time at 3am. Hope you enjoy these pictures!
